Safety, Custody and Protection
Being a fiduciary means that we are legally and ethically obligated to always act in your best interest. As fiduciaries, we provide objective advice and make objective decisions that are not influenced by commissions, product incentives or outside pressures. We serve as long-term stewards of your capital, applying the same care, discipline, and responsibility we would apply to our own. The fiduciary standard applies at all times and in all situations and forms the foundation of the trust our clients place in us.
Except in cases where clients have a specific custodian they would like to work with, we custody assets at Schwab, which is one of the largest and most respected custodians serving independent advisory firms.
No. Assets are purposefully held with high-quality, third-party and independent custodians like Charles Schwab. This clear separation enhances transparency, security and client protection.
Your assets are held at independent, nationally recognized custodians in accounts titled in your name. These custodians provide account security, regulatory oversight, and SIPC protection, while you retain full transparency and direct access at all times.
Yes. You will retain direct, secure access to your accounts through the independent custodian at all times. In addition to any statements or reports you receive from Woodland Wealth, you will receive statements directly from the custodian and we cannot move money without your authorization.
As fiduciaries working in your best interests, our fees are transparent and direct. Our fee is calculated as a transparent percentage of the assets we manage. We do not earn commissions or sell products, which ensures our interests remain aligned with yours.
